Sheppard Air Force Base is situated approximately 130 miles between Dallas and Oklahoma City. Sheppard Field began as a World War II Army Air Corps Training Center, officially dedicated on October 17, 1941. The field was named for the late Senator Morris E. Sheppard, former chairman of the Senate Military Affairs Committee.

Project Challenges:
Sheppard Air Force Base wanted delineation between the furniture in the Command Suite and the furniture for the four Division Chiefs. Sierra XP, used for the Command Suite and Central Park, used for the Division Chiefs, was the perfect solution for this challenge. Medals and awards were clearly displayed on half towers while concealed storage needs were fulfilled by using double height hutches and towers, mobile cubbies and modular pedestals.

Design-Oriented Casegood Solution:
DARRAN worked with DC Interiors to present high-quality modern collections to meet the vision for the facility. Matched finishes, coordinating glass tops and silver accents complimented the existing interior features.

DARRAN proudly extended the environmental standards of the building into the furniture selection. DARRAN casegoods and wood tables are MAS Certified, Level Certified and eligible for LEED Commercial Interiors.
